My 1 year old GE Washing machine Model WBVH5200J0WW flooded my washroom last week-end. I think it has something to do with this small hose at the top of the rubber seal that seats against the door. So I pulled the hose out to prevent it from draining internally again. Well it fixed the flooding problem. Only NOW, when the washer goes through its what sounds like 12000 RPM rinse cycle ,shaking my entire hallway, the rubber seal apparently tore itself up and I found tiny bits of wet grey rubber all over my clothes and inside the washer when I opend the door. I’m scared to use it again. Lesson learned: AVOID GE Appliances !.
