Craig-thanks for the video- we have one of those mini-apartment style washers and i think this is what is wrong- are they all located on the bottom? In our case the belt may be broken in 1/2 because there’s a electrical smell and the thing doesn’t spin would appreciate your help.
I had a good day, but later the washer stopped draining. I thought i had it fixed. LOL! Turns out one of the hose clamps was loose causing a water leak which made the water pump belt slip. I later replaced that belt, and tightened the hose clamp. I made a video of it called Maytag Washer Catastrophes.
Excellent job on that easy repair Craig, I am proud of you, you saved her that stimulous check and your ready for the new year going in style! Sounds a lot smoother now! Thanks for sharing

Yeah the 1987 Dryer (Kennmore) is in great shape too. I changed its belt also 2 years ago, and the gas valve coils last year.
