Maytag Neptune FL MAH3000
March 14th, 2010
Ever wonder what happens when your Maytag Neptune is washing? Does it actually do anything? Watch and be amazed! The spin clip was filmed during machine testing – the wash clip was filmed after the machine had been completed. The coin guard was removed and a new boot installed after a through cleaning of the 11 year old washer. It has the motor conversion upgrade (PN 12002039) and a Hutchinson sourced belt (12001788) and is extremely quiet! If only they had made the machines originally with all the upgrades, black tipped wax motors, carbon seals, heavy duty components on the control board, simplified dispenser…. Washed with a 1/4 cup of Tide HE powder and a pinch of STPP. Clothes came out nice and clean!

This is a Front Loader, there was also a Top Load version called the TL, which, instead of an agitator, two impellers rotate it in a front load manner, only in one direction.
March 15th, 2010 at 5:39 am
is that a front loader or a top loader on it side

Nice Ben, thanks for letting us see what goes on. I have one too. Good to see the rather high wash water level compared to the more frugal machines out there today. I think the rinses are done at an even higher level.

the tub is tilted 30 degrees so the clothes are held towards the back of the machine…i used to have one of these machines,,,love the jet sound during spin ramp up
